It was a blast driving a race car at Daytona International Seedway. Driving a 2.5 mile lap at 133 mph is amazing. Hard to believe but I was speechless for a few hours. Here is some in car video, the first few minutes are spent on pit lane waiting to get moving. The video does not do a good job representing how fast the car was moving.

Ripley lived in Southern Maryland area off and on for more than 20 years. After moving to Florida he began to pursue his radio career, which began with a weekend comedy talk radio show in West Palm Beach. After a few years he made the jump to full time radio. He has been On Air in Pennsylvania and North Florida, before returning to Southern Maryland.
